The Waitress (Le serveuse de bocks), 1879, by Edouard Manet (1832-1883). This painting is an oil on canvas and measures 30 1/2 x 25 1/2 in. It currently lives at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Manet is one of my favorite artists and was the subject of my undergraduate thesis for my art history major. I consider myself a generalist able to handle a wide range of subjects. Art and art history is one of my specialties.
