Leonardo's Calculator

This is Leonardo da Vinci's (c. 1690-1730) drawing for a calculator.  It is one of the first mechanical "computers" produced in the Western world.  Much of my indexing experience involves embedded indexing and back-of-the book indexing of computer manuals including books on programming, databases, and numerous software and online applications.

I have used my science background to index books about PCBs, cloning, environmental education, risk and various medical topics. I have also worked on database indexes on monoclonal antibodies and ophthalmology.

I am interested in philosophy and the spiritual, and have had the opportunity to index several volumes by Ken Wilber as well as other books on Eastern philosophy and thought, as well as some other traditions such as Wicca.
